Along with the Alcaltel One Touch Fierce, the French mobile company announced another one of its latest smartphones, the 4-inch Alcatel One Touch Evolve.
Available off-contract for $99.99, the handset will launch online on October 5 for T-Mobile customers.

Similar to the Fierce, the Evolve will have a 5-megapixel camera (which can record video in 720p), and a front-facing VGA camera.
Both handsets also feature 32GB of expandable storage and about 4GB of internal memory.
However, as a lower-end device compared with the Fierce, the Evolve has some notable differences. For instance, it runs a more dated version of Android Jelly Bean (v4.1 to be exact, compared to the Fierce's v4.2).
It also can only connect to T-Mobile's 3G network, and its aforementioned 4-inch WVGA screen has a lower 480x800-pixel resolution.
Furthermore, it has a smaller 1,400mAh battery and at 512MB, it has less RAM than the Fierce (which includes 1GB of RAM).
Given these entry-level specs, however, the One Touch Evolve is one of T-Mobile's least expensive phones. And at the full retail price of $99.99, it may be worth considering for those on a tight budget.
